Our Thoughts...

The DB-7 and DB-9 are the direct replacement for the GP1870 / GP1850 units. Where the GP1870 was typical old school Furuno - Buttons, built like a brick shithouse, user interface clearly designed by an engineer - these new units are typical of the new wave of Furuno products. They've kept the powerful sounder, and excellent build quality but now they're actually usable. The touchscreens are nice and bright, and they're 1kW chirp output too, finally bringing Furuno into the CHIRP world.
